Cake Order Terms & Conditions

Bookings & Deposits

A $100 deposit is required to secure your cake booking, unless otherwise agreed. The deposit is deducted from the total cost of your cake.

Deposits are generally non-refundable, as accepting your booking means reserving time in my production schedule and potentially declining other orders. However, I understand that circumstances can change, and cancellation requests will be considered individually.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Final Payments

The remaining balance is due no later than seven days before your scheduled collection or delivery date, unless another arrangement has been agreed upon.

Changes to Collection Dates

At least three days' notice is required for any request to change your agreed collection date or time.

Changes are subject to availability and my existing production schedule. While I will do my best to accommodate requests, changes cannot be guaranteed.

Requests made with less than three days' notice may not be possible, particularly if your cake is already in production.

Changes to Your Cake Design

Please advise me of any requested changes to your cake design, size, flavour or decorations as early as possible.

Once ingredients or decorations have been purchased or production has commenced, changes may not be possible. Additional charges may apply to approved changes.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your order, please contact me as soon as possible.

Any refund beyond the deposit will depend on the notice provided, work already completed, ingredients and materials purchased, and the circumstances of your cancellation.

Each cancellation will be considered individually, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Collection & Delivery

Please collect your cake at the agreed time. If you are running late, contact me as soon as possible so we can discuss alternative arrangements.

Once your cake has been collected, responsibility for its safe transport, storage and handling passes to you. I will provide any relevant handling and storage instructions.

For delivered cakes, responsibility passes to you or your nominated recipient upon delivery, unless otherwise required by law.

Food Allergies & Dietary Requirements

Please advise me of any allergies or dietary requirements when placing your order.

My kitchen handles ingredients including wheat, dairy, eggs and nuts. Although care is taken, I cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Acceptance of Terms

By confirming your cake order and paying your deposit, you acknowledge these terms and conditions, provided they have been made available to you before payment.
